Front licence plates?

Idaho requires that you have one mounted in the front. I havent put one on the front yet (bought the car May 15) but I got pulled over on Friday and the officer told me I need to get one put on. He was really cool and didnt give me a ticket or anything but told me that it is legally required.
So my question is, do they make a cheap adapter of some sort or will I have to just screw it into the front bumper? Id rather not do that but will if an adapter costs too much money.

Thanks in advance guys

Do you have the stock bumper or aftermarket?

If you have the stock bumper you may want to also look into the Stillen license plate bracket. Here's a link:

I use it on my sedan and love it.

L bracket attached to bumper using a washer, thin plate and bolt. Its 90 degrees with the corner racing me. Attached plate to it with bolt and washer. Dont. Costs like $4-5 at home depot? And I double side tape the other side... Credit goes to GReddy.
