Question 4.08 to AT help
Has anybody done a 4.08 final drive conversion to a 5AT

My current understanding is a MT diff will fit and then put the final drive to that

Also what results did you achieve

Consider posting your question in the Powertrain section. I have a 3.7 VSLD that's been waiting for installation for seven months now. I just can't find the time.

It seems cruise control functionality can be an issue with some 3.7 swaps. I'd expect little or no cruise control functionality with a 4.08
