19" wheels & Snow
To those living in the snow belt & thinking about purchasing a G35 with the upgraded 19" wheels: There are no 19" snow tires, only 4 season (pray when there's ice) tires. I had to get 18" rims and Pirelli SnowSports.
I was slipping & sliding for a couple of days on the stock summer tires until I had this snow tire/ wheel combo installed. Budget an extra $1500-2,000 to the purchase.
The Pirelli 240 SnowSports are great in the snow, ice and slush that covers the roads. I have Blizzaks on my RX-7 that work great too! The VDC does even not light up.

The width of the 19's would be an issue for traction on snow and ice anyway. Shop around for a smaller wheel and tire combo (the supplyers can help with this).
You'll find the traction with a narrower tire much improved over the wider ones.
