Exclamation 2003 G coupe PARANOIA !

What services or preventative maintenance do I need ?!?!

I have an 03 Coupe with 80k miles.

I flushed all fluids @ 60k , tranny, brakes, coolant, rear diff, steering.

I feel something needs replacing or repairing on my car. I change my oil at 4k miles and use
Kendall 5w-40 Full Synthetic with K&N Filter

I changed out my in cabin air filter to a charcoal
Im planning on replacing Valve covers and spark plugs at 90k
Just replaced both drive belts.

I have no mods except a Z-tube - SO IS THERE ANYTHING I NEED TO DO ?!

Heres a pic of my car

Lower it.

Just kidding.

Checking your spark plugs might be a good idea. They're rated to 100k, but it's never a bad idea to pop them out and take a look.

Before you spend the money, pull your coil packs out and see if there's any oil in the spark plug tubes. If there isn't, don't waste the money. There's no sense in replacing perfectly good valve covers.

With the amount of time and pain in removing the plugs in the G, better off just changing them anyways. Paid around $50 for NGK Iridiums on ebay.

Did you replace both drive belts yourself? I'm at 64k on orginal belts...I've done it before on my Altima but kinda nervous doing it myself on the G since this is my first time under its hood.

So why not look and see before actually undertaking the process? No sense in fixing something so simple if it ain't broke.

Spark plugs took me 45 minutes on the G. It's nice to only have to remove the intake tubing. You have to pull the whole upper intake manifold on the Maxima.

You also don't really need to run Iridiums. I bought a set of NGK-R's (platinums, AKA the plugs that most Nissans come with from the factory) for about $28.

Nice looking LR Coupe! Looking for something to do, with 80K miles on her clock what kinda condition is the suspension in....Shocks? Replacing the valve covers, don't do it unless the plugs have oil on them! New plugs, she's due....drive and enjoy!
