so i went today and they said everything was ok because the car wasnt overheating. the oil looked cleaned---i had just changed the oil 1 week ago.. he said the radiator had no coolant. so from what saw the guy was freaking being a lazy ***. He said the smoke was normal. YEAH RIGHT. so i went back to the manager and i told him, look man that smoke is not normal. i dont feel the mechanic want to look at it. good thing the manager was coo and said he would have his manager check it. They also said something about changing the pistons seals on the car?? that could be the smoke problem he said?? so will see what they say tom.

Bad piston rings is the Oil Consumption issue, which usually doesn't occur with the non-revup engines. Are you still under the powertrain warranty?

No fluid in the radiator, I wonder where it went? Could it be going out the tailpipe like we suspected all along? Now they're going to mess with the piston rings? POS mechanics, maybe if they pull the heads they'll discover a blown head gasket. Question being, will they recognize it? These guys are one giant "Clusterfu*k!"

Then he ask if i had a problem with taking the G37 loaner again for another week. HELL NO i told him lol. ill let you guys know as soon as I get a call on what they found. It better not be cuz i have F.I Cats lol. Thanks guys

I hope they have the knowledge to fix it right. Anyone with even the slightest amount of mechanical knowledge knows that white smoke/moist tailpipe and an empty radiator points toward a blown head gasket. Has nothing to do with OC or piston rings. Even if you have a 5AT we've seen OC issues, not that uncommon. Maybe they'll be retarded enough to give you a brand new motor....

any updates man???
im having a similar issue
I have a 05 5at with 97XXX km on it. About a couple of months ago I changed the spark plugs and noticed a bit of oil in the back rightplug. I took it in afterword to the dealer and told them I'm pretty sure my valves are leaking. They checked it all out an confirmed that was the case. They ended up changing them under my warrenty. And everything seemed fine. A couple of weeks ago I ended up changing my engine oil. Used some mobil 1 5-30 around 4.4 liters changed out the filter with nissans fatory one and everything seemed to be good. Levels were fine no engine light. Drove the car to work a few times everything was good.
Today took the car out and I started smelling a weird smell. I checked the oil levels again and everything was at the normal levels. the color of the oil seems fine like new oil. However later on in the day I notice that their is a smell and now a smoke comes out of the exhaust after a WOT. Under normal driving it seems to be fine but if I open it up a bit I can smell the burn off and I can see the smoke coming from the back end, the smoke is not consistent just when you step on the gas. I have no idea what's happening.
Like I stated I drove the car a few times after the initial oil change with no problem and today all of a sudden this started. I also ended up flushing the rad while installing the new samco hoses the same time i did the engine oil. I can see that the levels of the overflow tank for the rad have gone down since I put in the new hoses, but I figure that its just cause it fully cycled through the car since the flush? The temp on the gauge is where it should be.
Any ideas what it can be. I still have a year of full extended warrenty but I don't know which way to direct the dealer in.
Thanks in advance.
