White Smoke from Exhaust only when I punch it

hey there, about a month ago my exhaust set-up was True HKS Dual Exhaust with Megan Pipes. I took of the HKS and installed the OEM exhaust. just because it was 2 loud lol. So About 2 weeks later i noticed that i was getting a really bad smell from exhaust but I didn't really care. Later that week i noticed that now I was getting white smoke every time i would start driving but when i would punch it,i would see it more. but only for a bit. I decided to replaced my megan pipes with some F.I 300 cell High Flow Cats and see if that would help. It did help with the smell and also the smoke. I didn't noticed it for about a week but yest when i got on the freeway and punch it i saw the freaken white smoke again. I really dont know what can be causing that. The car runs great. its an 06 Coupe with 55,000 miles on it. My CEL isn't on. I don't feel the car drives any different from before. I did do research but found nothing. I did do my oil change when I took out my HKS exhaust but I dont see how that can have anything to do with it. All my fluids are good, No Oil smell, No oil my coolant, No leaks. I did see a little bit of water on the exhaust tips but from what i was told, that happens cuz i dont turn it on for days sometimes. The only mod i have is a 5/16 plenum spacer and the F.I cats. I read that maybe my air filter is dirty and im running rich so ill throw white smoke, but i just got a K&N filter a while back. Any help will be appreciated. Thank u very much

You could still potentially have a coolant leak somewhere without introducing oil into the coolant. Have you monitored your coolant level to make sure it hasn't been dropping?

You could be running rich...but to be running rich enough to see white smoke when you get on it, I would think your car would have to be dumping massive amounts of fuel into the motor. Maybe even enough to make it idle rough.

running rich you would see black smoke. White smoke is coolant or some times water. Could just be left over water in the exhaust. Does it still puff white smoke after the car has been on for awhile?

you could do a compression test to make sure its no the head gasket. worst case, it could be a small leak in your head gasket. Best case its just left over water in your exhaust from condensation.

Sounds like it might be coolant. Do you smell anything weird when you get out of the car?

Sounds like it COULD be a blown head gasket. I would take it to a trusted shop and have them look into it futher.

Could be coolant mixing in with your oil. Did your oil have a milkish brown color, if so you know that there is coolant in your oil.

Based on what you said, you might have overfilled - Running high RPMs with overfilled oil can cause white smoke as well.

Keep an eye on your coolant level and watch your tail pipes for excessive moisture....drips. White smoke is coolant, blue smoke is oil. Surprised you didn't like the sound of your HKS exhaust! Loud with test pipes but with your HFCs should sound sweet, give it another try....Gary

But one thing I did see was that the coolant was a little low. below min.. so I put more and ill keep an eye on it. when the car is on, it doesn't smoke but I do see water drops and if I rev it I don't see smoke Etheir but I do see little ware come out. I can smell my exhaust when I stop at a red light.

White smoke + strong gas smell could indicate an extreme rich condition.

Might be a broken injector, or bad oxygen sensors.

i checked my spark plugs 2 see if i had oil on them, and good thing they didn't. They were clean. I use Castro 0w30. I haven't driven the car so i dont know if the coolant is getting lower. but i did turn it on and the exhaust have water. and i guess it does smell like coolant. i was wondering if i can buy a gasket sealer kit from Auto zone. see if that helps. Thanks
