Question Finally bought a G

I got a 2003 coupe 6mt with 77K miles. First time drive a manual car. The clutch is high and tight.(My friend told me that he replaced the clutch on 70K miles) I dont konw it's normal or not. any one can answers me?thanks

Just got mine today! Clutch is also pretty high, it's normal from what I've read. It's also not very forgiving compared to a honda/acura clutch, its similar to a VW/Audi in how picky it is. Takes a few hours to get used to.

g35's are a very nice car, NISSAN in a tux, lol

Don't care much about it. Sometimes it because the driver is so depend on using clutch (weak driver) you can change if you feel that you need more comfortable

If you do some digging with the "Search Function" at the top of the page, you can find a common fix for the high engaging point of the clutch. Just do a search for "DIY clutch fix" Good luck!

you can adjust the engagement point. It is a little high for my tastes so i adjusted it lower. If the clutch has never been changed it would change it though.

What type of your G is ? Where are you from ?
The most expensive and good kit (clutch + mass flywheel) is for Volvo V70 with : £1,400 and the normal clutch may be from £300 - £600$
