You'll need D2S bulbs. I guarantee you these ebay projectors will be pathetic in output even compared to your OEM D2R reflectors. If I was you, I'd either get a headlight buffing kit or put this money towards the 06+ projectors.

I certainly hope you're wrong Adam, as I just purchased those head lights a little over a week ago. I haven't hooked them up yet since i'm getting my new gt-r front bumper painted and installed next week. If worst comes to worst I'll just put an aftermarket 55w kit in. and i'm debating putting 55w bi xenons in three high beams. Then when my fog lights are on I'll have approx. 35w of HID from 4 lights.

I'm actually pulling them apart so I have the black bezel painted to match the car. I will try to get pictures throughout the process.

Haha sorry to ruin your day, but the projectors in ebay headlights are very low quality. Putting in boosted ballasts won't help either. Maybe you can return them and buy OEM?

eBay headlights just look like straight ricer trash, can't believe people even consider them. Just get the 06 projectors.

yep, they're cheap. i saw a person who bought some of these ebay projector headlights on their RSX, it rained during the car meet, and the light fogged up and bulb died.

Here's my advice on lights, ebay or otherwise (and this can be applied to any car as my G35 is the car I've yet to buy lights for but I will be upgrading to the 06 projectors and tails). While a lot of people will tell you that it's a horrible investment and the light output will suck and blah blah blah...MOST reputable dealers on Ebay are reputable because their products don't suck as much as people assume they do.

THAT said at the end of the day, you do get what you pay for. The world will not come to an end because you buy replacement lights from ebay. However, small things light fit & finish will not be as nice as OEM. Functionality, while it may not be up to OEM, will not be horrible, but there will definitely be a difference. Sometimes for the better; sometimes for the worse.

When it comes down to it, it's your car. It's just that for a lot less money and some elbow greese, you can get the same (and more respectable) results. Or, foot the bill for the OEM stuff. just my $.02

I'm tired of seeing this eBay trash all over. I wish it would just go away.

I pretty much share the same sentiment as most people in regard to eBay headlights. I ran some OEM style ones a while back and they seemed okay at first, but over time they didn't look that nice. I eventually switched back to regular OEM.
