Seeing that you guys think neons on a car look "ricey", what would you think of two led light strips above the pedals and the passenger side w here the feet go.

good idea??

i saw this on some cars at an auto show and it looks killer

I think it will look kinda cool, because the Japanese G35 has the blue neon light in the interior

I have this mod in my car. I have a neons under driver and passenger side under the dash. Then I got the switch on the ashtray from Digiwheel or something. Only problem I have is that switch that Digiwheel recommended are not stay on with just ne click. You have to literally, push and hold the push button switch to turn on, and when you let go the push on switch it turns off. So, I am looking for a switch(push on) with diameter of .5inches. So, for now, I just connected so that when I turn my car on, it turns on, and when the engines off, it turns off. I will post some pictures if people are interested.

If you think it looks nice, go for it! Sure, some people don't like it, but if you like it, that's all that counts.

If you're looking for something really bright and cheap, I reccomend "cathodes". If you want something more subtle, I reccomend blue or UV (blacklight) LEDs. You can get a few single LEDs (not tubes). Maybe put 5 LEDs per side, and it will give a nice effect.

I wouldnt worry about what other people think as long as you enjoy it yourself. Everyone has their own opinion about whats 'rice'. Some people think undercar LEDs are rice, some dont. IMHO i like G35Lin's LED kit, makes his car stand out and looks pretty nice, although i dont think his is undercar (in the grilles). There was a thread about painting calipers and some people thought it was ricey. IMO if it looks like ****...than its ricey, regardless of what it is. So if you painted your calipers and did an REAL good job....than it wouldnt IMO be ricey. Ive noticed some people state or believe a 'DIY' is cheap, therefore ricey. So alot of people think taking the cheap way out (doing it urself) is rice, whereas if you paid some guy 3x to do the same thing....then its cool?? My point, do what you like to the car, dont worry bout others, but the general consensus says 'remember its a 37K car so NO purple tint and chrome fender trim or those mud flaps w/ the naked ladies posing lying down!!!!'
