I have both, the M3 convertible is still faster. 0 - 60 in 5.4 as compared to the 04 G35 at around 5.8 stock. Half a second is quite a bit, but I'm interested to see how my 05 G35 does against it, especially after a few mods to get into the 310 to 320 HP range.

Rugrat, love your G! SWEEEET! I'm not sure about that carbon fiber C-pillar though. Love the wheels. How much are those wheels? Anyway, keep up the good work!

Guys those M3 are fast, no matter if it stick, SMG, conv anyway you put it, they should burn a G35 coupe. My friend has a 2001 manual and let me tell you, you can't compare the 2 for performance. They're stock M3 running flat 13 sec quarter miles, with most of them being in the very low 13s. Now that's FI territory for a G35.
