Shift boot and **** install for '04 5AT Coupe? DIY?

I searched the forums and couldn't find a DIY for this, think I found one but it was just a broken link. I have a custom shift boot coming for my '04 5AT as well as a Momo shift ****. Is there a do it yourself for how to install this or could someone give me a hand? I never really mess around with this stuff but I'm learning! Thanks in advance!

I've done it a few times need any help let me know...remove your shift ****, put car in neutral/hit e-brake, and just pull up on the center console area and disconnect the 3 plugs....everything from there on is pretty straight forward

I installed the MOMO shifter. I took out the white plastic piece that was needed for the stock shifter. Makes it sit lower doesn't get in the way of the radio now I had it pushed down to much at first and it seemed to shift fine, but it would not fully engage park. Did not make the car happy.

A better way to install the MOMO shift **** is to cut off and reshape the little plastic actuator so it sits lower (Dremel tool is what I used) this way it functions as intended. Installing the boot just requires popping up the plate with a screw driver carefully and disconnecting the wires. You may need to cut away some of the mesh under the boot so it works correctly....I did!
