Hey guys..i have recently baught a 05 6mt about 2 weeks now. recently this problem has happend to me..3 times to be exact. now i KNOW theres dozens of other threads on this forum. I read em all and they all seem like half-*** questions asked and answers. So with this pose i will be very specific and also include a pic of what i see.

SO..since it was pretty damn cold this past week where i live, i start my car up n head back inside n wait for it to warm up. Now within 10 minutes of warming up. These lights appear on my dash all at once. Ive tried to put it in 1st gear and drive but nothing happens when i hit the gas pedal..even when i floor it. When im in neutral it revs fine. I turn the ignition off and try to start it again but nothing happens. it clicks a few times like if i have a bad battery but thats it, mind you, I put a new battery in the car when i baught it (always do when i buy a "new" car, along with all fluids changed) I let it sit for about 1 hour and it cranks fine and charges fine. 12.3v engine off. 14.3v engine on.
Why is this happening every single time when i let my car sit there to warm it up. if i just get in and drive w.o warming up its fine no problems at all...
PLEASE HELP ME!!
oh yea..car is bone stock.no mods what so ever.

I'd start basic. Has anything been done to your car recently? Ie: mods, maintinance, curb check etc.

I did a little digging and since your brakes, fluids and wheel speed sensors are good I've read to check you brake light fuse. A guy had the same symptoms and it turned out to simply be a fuse. (I'd check them all as it easy enough)

Also, when you hooked up the scan tool at work did it give you any codes? Most of my search results did however point to a bad wheel speed sensor... Pretty crazy its fine if you dont let it warm up before driving... Might have a gremlin. Keep us updated.

No mods done. Bone stock.
No codes were present when he did the Wheel speed sensor test.
That guy u were talking about...Would his car not start again after he turned it off?
As for the fuses. I will check them all tomorow and Update again.
Thanks for the help so far thoe...

I don't recall that his car wouldn't start, but here are some links. I found the g35nyc forums where the closest to your situation with temperature, symptoms and what not.

http://g35nyc.com/forums/archive/index.php/t-6872.html

http://g35nyc.com/forums/showthread....-ABS-lights-on

http://www.infinitiscene.com/forum/t...warning-lights

Sounds like it could be numerous things. It has never happened to me so I can't say for sure. I'm thinking it has to be something to do relating with a sensor of some sort...

A bigger problem.

You said you put the shfter in 1st gear, let the clutch out and revved the engine and the car didn't move? Did you feel the clutch grabbing and it felt like the wheels were locked up? Or did it just rev like it was in nuetral?

Once your car is warmed up it goes into "Limp Mode" this I can understand but you should have an error code when you scan it. When you installed the battery how long did your car sit between removing the old battery and installing the new one? If the time line was 2+ hours your ECU needs to be refreshened by Nissan. When you start your car how does it idle? Cold idle s/b 1500 rpms. Warm idle s/b no lower than 500 rpm. If your G is different that's another indication the issues is with your ECU....Gary

The thing that is getting me is that it is fine if he doesn't let it warm up before driving...

so you all wont believe this...I started my car and poped the hood n was looking around..my hand accidently touched the harness that has the alternator wire in it and i heard the idle change..i moved my hand and did it again..samet thing happend. so i grabbed the wires with my hand and held it, the idle changed and stayed steady as im holding the wires..soon as i let go it gets a little bit higher. SOoo i grabbed my milti meter n put the leads on the terminals. Engine ON 12.3v grabbed the wires 14.2v o_O
something isnt right here. I undid the black case that covers up the wires and took out the 2 wires that connect to the alternator plug and set them aside by them selves and taped it up for now untill i get some more time tomorow to trace the whole wire. i tried to go up as far as i could inspecting the 2 wires and couldnt find a brake or anything in the wire casing..so yea i just taped the 2 up togather and everything seems fine now. it hasnt gave me the problem i was having so far..lol. my car is fu*ckin with me

Hey I have a similar problem, but its when i hit bumps on the road everything turns off, sometimes just the radio, other times everything flickers and the car stalls then continues, its only when i hit bumps though. Not sure what's causing it, I changed my rotors and pads, and im on steelies with winters still. I have a Z tube and a K&N cone filter. I've also changed the upper and lower front control arms recently since they were pretty must gone. Also it only happened twice, but when it turns off black smoke comes through the air vents inside the car. I drive a 06 Sedan X
HELP PLEASE

Hmm..black smoke? ..what does it smell like? If u hit bumps and it happens maby some wires are getting shorted or touching together causing it to short..but anyway if that happend. Im sure it wohld have blew so. Fuses..? Check all the wires..alternator wires..battery cables all that stuff.
Hope that helps.. good luck.

there are multiple causes/solutions for the VDC/SLIP light problem. I had the same issue with my 04' shortly after I bought it. occasionally while I was driving the VDC off/SLIP/ SES lights would come on and the car would go into limp mode. check for codes. Mine through a TPS code. ended up having to replace the throttle body assy and problem solved. ABS light was due to a shorted wheel sensor harness. Hope that helps a little
