hid replacement bulb help
Hey guys to be quick and precise I want to kno the difference between 2ds and 2dr bulbs I have a 2005 coupe and I guess it uses the 2dr bulbs and I want to switch the factory bulbs can I use the 2ds bulbs on my whip? Or is it gonna explode?? Somene help me out please I wanna get like a bluish tint to my lights and if somebody can explain to me what the conversion kits are all about? Do u have to plug them to something in the the car? Heeeelp!!!
Stick with OEM bro. If it says a specific bulb use that bulb. What look or function are you trying to achieve? Do you want them brighter? A different color? More light out put? Whatever it is, you can find it in HID form in a different temperature.
If anythjng a whiter bulb and ill put a blue led on the parking light I got a white one right now so if u can tell me where to get a white light with high output

Search 8000K HID 2DR Bulbs on ebay or Google shopping. Also check under LIGHTING in our Marketplace under the VENDOR option.
6000K is what I recommend, its a pure white. If you want a hint of blue the 8000K shld work just fine for you. Anything more and you're asking for police attention.

First off its D2S (projectors) and D2R (Reflectors).
The only difference is the knicks in the base and the D2R are covered on the bottom so you don't look like buddy next door with his glaring 30000000K PnP kit because you NEED those bottom covers on the bulb.
Don't use D2S, and don't use D2H. Use D2R. If you go any higher than 6000K you're losing lumens and wasting output. If you have a decent budget, look at the Osram CBI D2R bulbs. White output (slight slight blue without the rice) and its 3400 lumens (same as the 85122+) without the yellow tinge. Best of both worlds.
