Strange AFM Problem
Strange AFM Problem
Ok, I have just hooked up the vortech SC and the car idle and cruised perfectly. Then after a few drives, I decided to push it a little. When I accelerated, the motor cut off at 2200rpm (My first thought was Piping blew off after the AFM or the AFM is bad). So I brought the car home and shut it off and checked the piping. I gave it about 15mins then restarted it and I was able to rev normally. I then went out gradually accelerated and the car pulled well to 5000rpm. I tried to accelerate hard again and it cut off at 2200rpm.
I will be doing a boost leak tomorrow but I doubt that is the issue. Do you guys have any suggestions on what check?
Sorry, for the long post.

Did it go into limp mode and not run until you turned it off and restarted?
I would go to a shop that has tuned boosted VQ's and invest in some proper engine management and a dyno tune.. before you have to invest in a new shortblock
