Hesitation at higher RPM

Hi all,

Car: 2004 G35 Coupe M6 (no mods bone stock except hid's)

It runs fine in lower RPM but as soon as it pass 4k it hesitates throughout acceleration..? it feels like fuel/air mixture ratio is off but im not throwing any cel's. the odb2 scanner shows my oxygen senors are operating normally.

I may also add i have the oil consumption problem, but this has just started happening and i always keep my oil topped up.

I've used the search button but can't find any answers.. Suggestions are appreciated.

HELP PLEASE,
Cheers

Does it only hesitate for a second, or for the entire RPM range above 4K?

mine used to hesitate at idle when you revved it. It was due to a misfire.

its intermittent throughout the power-band after 4k RPM.. its like a hiccup.. maybe its a misfire? I will inspect plugs and wires.
