Really Really hard to tell what all needs to be fixed just with the pictures. I'd take it to a quality shop and have them check it out and provide and estimate with everything that needs to be fixed

Ouch. Glad you're okay.

If you don't mind me asking- what caused it exactly? Poor tread? Large puddle on the road? Just plain gassed it and lost traction? Summer tires with even 40-50% tread remaining are pretty poor in rain.

Thanks man, and it's one of the worst feelings of all time. Let's see how much it will cost to repair, scared af because of that.

Thanks man!

Well I can say it was a combination of all, the tires probably had 50% of tread. I was like at 50 mph the road was wet and raining and the car just slid out of nowhere and spin like crazy till I finally crashed. If I'm not mistaken here in Puerto Rico all that we have is summer tires. Maybe there are improved ones for this type of conditions. Not really sure of that tho. I was gonna change the tires in a few months :/

That's scary. So it lost control on its own going straight?

Maybe you should invest in some All-Season tires? They are great for rain and if anything, more comfortable than summer tires. Of course you lose that "grip the road" feel you get with summers (esp. when cornering).

All the best- hope you can have her riding like new in no time.

That is probably about 10k in damages if not more. Your car is totaled. I had a much less severe rear end collision and it was 4k in repair cost. If you dont have insurance, I feel bad for you.

For sure it will be more than $3000-4000. I drove my GF's 99 civic, hit a deer at 45mph, damaged the front bumper, right fender, hood, and door. She only had liability so I had to pay out of my pocket. The collision shop quoted me 2800 (I was like F that!). Thanks to Ebay, I got her a new fender, hood, bumper for only $400, got a door from the junkyard for $60, and cheap maaco paint job for $500. My total cost was only $900 compared to $2800.

Your damage looks more severe, glad you're okay and good luck man with the repair.

REPOST!
Well Kid, since you posted this thread on G-Spot and on our Coupe section too you should have received the answers you're looking for. Lesson learned, pay for full coverage insurance it's cheaper than having a car that's a total loss....Gary
