Didn't go to Tech either but have an engineering degree and work in NoVa. Small world huh? I'm also looking for a house but more towards the city and in Maryland. Really hard for me considering I'm on my sole income but I've got a few places in mind in Montgomery County.

Yeah its hard to go to Tech and not be a big fan of their football program. I was in the engineering program the first 2 years I was there, but ended up in financial planning.
