Worth Replacing?

Hit a object in the middle of the road, tore off my front driver side fender liner and under engine cover. Also lost my clear corner but I bought some more of those. But the guy said I was also missing the front bumper spoiler. That one piece alone cost 330.13, is it even worth replacing? I never noticed it. But the part number is 96015-am800. Does it make that big of a difference on draft or look?

Alright, cool thanks man. I just don't see that one unnoticeable piece making a big difference.

That's a question only you can answer. If it were my car, and we are talking about a front lip here- I would replace it. I prefer the look with the lip myself as opposed to without. But that's why I say only you can decide.

I would file a claim with insurance and let them take care of the rest... if your deductible is reasonable of course.

Seriously? Do you believe Nissan installed a fender liner and under pannel just for fun? Of course they're needed, what's going to happen to your coupe when you drive in the rain/mudd? Use a little logic, find a Nissan/Infiniti wrecking yard in your neighborhood and get the needed parts for cheap. Once installed your coupe will thank you by lasting longer....Gary

Bro replace the under engine cover and fender liner 100%. They're there for a reason and will help the car last longer. Do you really want water spraying onto the belt and rusting the pulleys?

Not sure what he means by the front spoiler.

at the very least replace the fender liner. They sell them on ebay for pretty cheap. It designed to protect your hids and other electrical wiring from debris you may pick up on the road.

If debris hits one of the electrical wires and makes them ground out you can have a lot of damaged electrical components if your fuses don't save you.

Very dangerous on the road. The under body tray should be replace eventually but not as urgently as the fenderline. The under body tray is designed to protect your under body components but it also helps with aerodynamics giving you more mpg and less lift during high speeds...usually starting around 65mph +

This....^....is what I was answering and apparently what most of the other members were too. We didn't want him to not install the fender liner or under cover because of what the results would be. If he didn't notice the bumper spoiler maybe he never had one?

Yea, thats the piece. I'm replacing the engine under cover and fender liner for sure.

Think this would be the piece according to the part number.

Lmao yea sure buddy. If that was the case then maybe u should've quoted op instead of me. I on the other hand was simply answering his question. No where did he state he was not going to replace the other parts. And for the others either they can't read either or doing the usual monkey see monkey do that's quite apparent on this forum.

its up to you on the lower lip. The lower lip is for aerodynamics. Its to push air under the car to reduce drag. There's a reason why our cars have pretty low drag coeficients.
