need exhaust gods opinions?

Hope this is in the right section, I am planning on doing a complete exhaust setup headers, hfc and catback (all stillen products) so I would love anyone's input on this. If anyone has this setup please reply to this. would love to hear pros and cons if it's too loud, raspy, burns too much gas etc....

Thank you all.

There not a bad brand at all. It's not very loud if that's what your looking for. IMO I would do some research on the nismo cbe. They also offer nismo headers if your pockets are deep lol

Thanks Shane... lol I think my budget would be as much as stillen cost new for everything, I really don't want it too loud but would love a deeper tone from stock, what type of setup are you running?

Pete, Stillen has two exhaust systems only the dual cat back is worth installing and will sound great combined with there HFCs. Headers for the results, aren't worth installing unless you're going FI....Gary

Thanks for letting me know that stillen have two catback systems (stillens rep did not inform me of that but I am sure that's what he was selling me) as far as heads go I am not doing/planning on going FI but just feel the need to change since the car is seven years old.

Thanks Gary.

I was running the motordyne shockwave v1 with the motordyne art pipes. I'm now running motordyne art pipes with the motordyne xyz pipe and stock exhaust. Sence your probably not going to get headers that will give you some more wiggle room. Do some research on some exhausts you like paired with the motordyne art pipes they help take away rasp and drone. I plan on getting a nismo Sence it sounds like the stock exhaust but a lot more aggressive.

The Stillen dual cat back exhaust contains the Magnflow x-pipe that blends the pulses from both banks eliminating any rasp or drone! This exhaust when pared with OE cats is slightly louder than OE until you add the HFCs. Stillen's other exhaust is a y-back system that's not worth installing in comparison....Gary

If you do go ahead with the headers, make sure the exhaust you get has the flex flanges in it, mine doesn't and i can tell the exhaust is super "high strung" if you know what i mean, there's nowhere for the flex to go when the motor is really revving.

Im running Momentum Performance headers, Berk HFC's and a Greddy EVOTT exhaust

Why did you go from Shockwave V1/ARTs back to ART/XYZ/OEM?

Header's are a waste w/o turbo. Waste of install cost unless installing with turbo. I have a Stillen Dual CBE, and had horrible rasp w/ resTP's before going FI FYI.

I don't have the revupmotor @sd, personally I just want to change the entire exhaust due to the age of the car. Pretty much the entire exhaust is rusted as well with leaks. With that being said should I just buy new stock heads?
