Angry My G got hit! :(

Whats up guys, well for the first time ever my coupe got hit. I was coming out of a parking lot and old dude went around the car that was letting me pass (went around them on the other side of the road, crossing the double yellow lines) and hit me. The total damage so far is

Front Bumper
(2) Headlights
Passenger Fender
Grille

Anyone have any suggestions. I am thinking of going aftermarket bumper/headlights. I see a bunch of different options, especially for headlights but don't want to get a cheesy set. Also any suggestions of a shop near Bergen County, NJ?

Thanks

Damn that sucks, any pics? I'd say get an after market bumper, inven or nismo. As for lights just look for some projectors or if I was in your shoes just get a cheap pair of 03-04 lights and do a quad projector retrofit. Depending on what shop you go to you might even end up with extra cash in your pockets.

first off sorry your car got hit man hope you're okay! I personally like inven and the nismo, as for the headlights get some 06/07 and customize them....

Sorry you got hit- but I will advise you to get OEM 06+ headlights. Unfortunately, most of the aftermarket choices I have seen are fairly tacky and cheesy. Can't go wrong with Nismo bumper. Or maybe the 06+ bumper if you want to keep it fairly OEM looking.

Not only did he stop but he got out of his car and started to yell at me, saying why wasnt i looking. I told the lady who waved me to go, to stay there and not to turn off her blinker. I am like hey bud, how did you hit me if there is a car stopped blocking your path? Hes like I went around her, so I am like you went around her, crossing the double yellow on the other side of the road and have the ***** to be yelling at me? I suggest staying in your car until the cops come. He kept yelling all this crazy stuff, then the cop came and started to yell back at him lol

Did the cop fill out a report? He definately should have!!! If it was the other persons fault and was stated in the accident report. His insurance provides is responsible for the repairs. Get a copy of the report and contact your insurance company. It's foolish to pay out of pocket when you wouldn't have to.

I am not paying out of pocket, the police officer did fill out a report and stated twice that the other car crossed the double yellow onto oncoming traffic. So i am fine there. What I am not fine with is the pricing the insurance adjuster wrote for replacement parts. It would leave me with 2 options, go oem and hope the shop doesnt take as many hours to offset the parts, or get after market parts..

Hey guys, is there a visual difference between my 04 headlights and an 06? I keep googling to check and I see a lot of aftermarket coming up, and the oem I saw come up looked the same so the image might have been marked wrong. Any help?

Hurry and get a set of '06 Projectors from one of our Infiniti dealership sponsors! There not making them any more, once they're gone.... IONIC makes two grilles, Gialla and Plain bar. Both look good depending on your taste and coupe color. BAUSauto on our MARKETPLACE will have whatever bumper you like. Since you weren't at fault let your insurance company get your coupe fixed better than new. You can deal with your body shop on what parts you want installed. Don't forget the loss in value for your coupe too, s/b no less than a grand....Gary

The difference is night/day between the '04 OE headlights and the '06 projectors! The junk you see on ebay and a few other place isn't nearly the quality of OE '06+ projectors. Stay with OE I promise you won't ever be sorry....Gary
