I don't know that maybe someone else will chime in? Siphoning should accomplish the same thing though. It's gonna run rough while it runs out what's in the lines but as long as it stays running it should clear up after that. Keep it revved up while its clearing out

You can buy a siphon at lowes and places like that time depends on how full your tank is...but you don't have many choices haha

diesel is more oily than gas, so it will damage absolutely nothing but your fuel filters.

What you need to do is drain your fuel tank
replace your fuel filters
blow out your fuel lines
fill everything up with gas and start her up.
it will run rough for a little bit until all the diesel is out of the system and should be back to normal in no time after.
Maybe do a seafoam treatment to the fuel and engine.

What he said. Seafoam will clean a lot of the residual diesel left. Plus seafoam is awesome.....Pretty sure it can cure cancer

How did she manage to do that? Usually the diesel pumps have a different sized nozzle so idiots don't accidentally fill up a gasoline car with diesel. My friend accidentally tried to do it to my car one time back in college during a road trip, and that was the only thing that prevented it from happening.

On the bright side, at least your sister attempted to put some fuel in the car... LOL.

G35 Coupe
take out the back seats, and open up the hole to the gas tank and siphon on the gas tank, but how do you manage to put diesel in , isnt there a coil around the diesel nozel that prevents you from putting it in the gas hole for regular cars ? But the injectors are probably ****ed , i dont know too much about fuel systems

Also check to make sure your fuel filler nozzle is not damage. Usually the Diesel filler is larger in diameter than a non-Diesel one so your sister must have jammed that nozzle in there. I know because my sister-in-law did the exact same thing to her Civic.

Lol....I don't understand how one could accidentally fill diesel in a gasoline car....The hose is usually separate from the gasoline ones. Only thing I can say is maybe she has a diesel car and is second nature.
