agreed, diesels are built a lot tougher then gasoline engines thats why they cost more to build. I agree with everyone else, just siphon out all the gas and hope to god it'll work.

My aunt did the same thing to her cayenne. They had to replace the fuel pump and injectors and pump out all the fuel. Ended up costing her $5k but those are porsche dealership prices.

got it resolved thanks dude. Was a hassle to drop the tank and get all that gas out but had to be done.

F-ck that sucks dude... i dont think siphons work due to the design of the fuel tank. Try draining through a fuel line? Certainly dont fill up with premium or try starting your car even till all that ***** out... then fill some gas with a jerry can fill up your gas and you might even want to clean your injectors after that. Oh also sucker punch your sister

 

This is the procedure I do at work when ever I get a car with diesel.

1. drop tank, drain completely. Then lay rags in the tank and hold them with your hand to be sure not to lose any rags in the tank. Move tank around to soak up remaining diesel. Remove rags

2. Undo the fuel lines at the fuel rail. Take an air blower(assume you got compressor) and blow the diesel out of the lines. From the front to the back.

3. Replace fuel filter and I always recommend a fuel pump of the car was ran with diesel.

4. Put it all back together and fill tank with premium. Smoke on start up is usually very minimal. Less smoke, the better job you did on clearing the system of diesel.

Edit: siphon wont work especially on a modern car. There are baffles in the filler neck to keep people from siphoning your gas lol. The tank will need to be dropped if you want to get as much diesel out as possible
