HELP! How to remove screws?

Hi all,

Today I tried to clean my fuel sending unit, but I can't seem to remove the 6 screws... Does anyone have any suggestions?

When I try to use a phillips head screw driver, it just seems to strip the screws. Same goes when I try to use pliers or a wrench.

Please help!

Use a socket. Looks like 8mm or 10mm

I'd go with a socket, especially if you already had problem with a screw driver. A socket wrench would be much easier!
