I read on the sedan thread that Nissan badge wouldn't fit into Infiniti grille,
but in a coupe, badges are interchangeable.

Is this true ? coupe drivers can fit a Nissan badge into a front grille in a G35 Coupe 2003 -2006 model ?

I think you have to buy a JDM grill. I don't speak from fact. I speak from having both an Infiniti, a Nissan, and access to a bunch of Nissan and none of their badges fit my grill (I've tried about 4 or 5 different ones). But, if you find different, lemme know.

Why would you want to "Degrade" from an Infiniti to Nissan, they cost thousands less?

if youre talkin about reseale vaule, it wont hurt it much , tbh replacing EVERYTHING with Nissan badges with help the upsale, given some parts are hard to get such as the steering wheel air bag cover and engine cover. Plus Nissan is sportier, but thats my opinion. But honestly you would still get the same KBB value private sale if you were to sell your G35 with Nissan badging.

And to the OP, badges can be swapped, if you dont know about the fad of JDM we have a few threads about it. Some people want to deny the fact that your G35s are Nissans. Since Nissan is not as luxurious even though the only difference is the badges and position of steering. They want to say to other people to get a wow factor " I drive an Infiniti"

THIS IS A NO NO ! FYI

Maybe in your world. That's exactly how mine looks. Nothing wrong with it at all. SAME manufacturer. It would be a ridiculous "sin" to mix-match manufactures emblems or say put a Infiiniti Emblem on a Nissan. The NISSAN SKYLINE 350GT was simply re-badged when Nissan decided to FINALLY port it out to the US.

I'm ok if every single person on this forum flames me b/c of the Inifiniti Symbol and the "Skyline 350GT" mix, b/c personally I think the "Mt Fuji" emblem looks way better than the Nissan. I have the Nissan rear bumper badge but haven't put it on, b/c everything else in the interiror is Inifiniti....anyways...beating a dead horse with it being 2013 now - ROFL...my car is a decade old now.

Here's the final point - do what you want to do - what you like best - b/c if Joe Smoe hates what I've done to my coupe - forget him - he's not the one that owns and drives the car daily. I've got nothing but compliments and not one single (in person) burn for the mix-match. Maybe their too afraid to tell me to my face?? LMAO....

P.s. The entire deal about "WOW" you drive an Infiniti - is complete BS - These "taylor made US brands" do not even exist on 90% of the planet. We Americans are just paying much more $$$ for the same damn car (rolling eyes). I bought the car b/c I loved the look and performance of the coupe - but would have HAPPILY paid thousands less for it under a Nissan badge...blahhhhh...maybe then I wouldn't have done the ultimate mix-match sin (per you guys), ha!

^ this. the idea that were driving a vehicle that is "a cut above the rest" because its an infinity instead of a nissan is retarded. It just shows that the american populous is retarded enough to pay way more for something that has a fancy name. Same scenario with Acura. correct me if im wrong, but I dont believe Acura exists in many more countries either (could be wrong).

But who gives a **** anyway. Do what you want to do man. At the end of the day its your car. Unless you're renting it out to people to drive then does it really matter what they think? I'm also a huge fan of the Fuji logo. Sure, the Nissan badge would be more "authentic" to compliment a 350Gt or Skyline badge, But do you really want a big silver hamburger on the trunk?

As the saying goes, "opinions are like *******s, everybody has one." With that said, I'll echo what was already said by agreeing to do as you please. No matter what you do you won't please everyone so why try?
