Clutch and gear box in the winter weather
When its cold out and I start my car after its been sitting over night the clutch is very non responsive in the sense that when I ease my foot off it after shifting, the peddle is slow to rise back to normal positioning, Also the gears are rough, especially second gear, it takes about 15 mins for the car to warm up and for the clutch and gear box to feel normal. Should I be concerned, or is this normal for the winter with the coupe?
Have you recently flushed your clutch line with new fluid? The clutch fluid, like brake fluid, must be changed out every few years at a minimum. If not, the fluid absorbs water over time and causes parts to corrode and no longer operate smoothly.
