Pros and Cons on taking the resonator off.

I would like to hear the pros and cons of taking the resonator off the coupe. I like the factory set up but I would like it to be a lilttle louder and would like to do it in non expensive manner.
Thanks

Leave the resonator I tried removing it and it sounded horrible and raspy but I love the sound of the muffler delete and for free you can unbolt it and if you need tips you can pay roughly 100 at a muffler shop and they will run pipe and tips for you

Since you know so little about exhaust I recommend you don't touch anything yourself. And no removing the muffler won't throw a CEL as nothing monitors that part of the exhaust the only things that will throw a CEL is the O2 sensors on cats and headers.

Why the hell would you remove the resonator.

Because some cars sound fine without the resonators, but this isnt one of them. Muffler delte if anything.

Muffler Delete

Resonator Delete

Hers an option washer mod, basically unbolt the muffler and then use some washers to create an open spot keeps the tips and makes a little more sound

Heres my car when I attempted to do the washer mod, and I couldnt get the muffler to unbolt at and took a sawzall to the flange and basically just opened the gasket up a lil.

I had someone ask if it had exhaust, but wasnt sure because he saw the stock muffler.

Thanks fellow brother in arms, I like the deep sound so I think I will go with the muffler delete, the resonator delete sounds too raspy.
So if I were to go into a shop I would say take the muffler off and leave the tips?

Funny thing is, is that I was never talking about you in the first place. Just giving the OP my personal advice to save for an exhaust that'll actually benefit his car, not sound like ****. Not sure if you want to increase your post count or you like to troll?
