I'm voting for the valet switch too on some aftermarket alarm. You're going to have to trace the wires and see what they're connected to. I bout a car about 5 years ago that had a switch like that and it turned out to be for strobes that had been installed on the headlights and taillights, it was pretty cool actually!

If you have an iPod cable in the cubby or in center console, I bet this switch is for a ipod module. Or it could be a starter kill switch.
