Help with a/c please!

Hello everyone i just replaced my a/c compressor. Other one had a bad clutch.... But now my a/c clutch wont activate??!? I put freon in it and oil as well. Did i miss anything? I live in hot *** phx so i need it fixed asap. Thnks everyone!

Did you over service or under service the compressor? And not to offend you but did you hook all the wires.back up

I put about 4-5 ounces of oil and about 19ounces of freon and yes i did but i think i will re check i highly doubt it though

Ok cool. Did you by chance vacuum the old freon out before you serviced it? Ive had compressor's that are over serviced not come on

That i did not do i assumed once all the pressure was out it was empty?? Simce the compressor did not have anythn in it ... Is that somethn i can do at home

was it a used or new compressor you put in? i have dealt with my compressor before maybe the sensor went bad

Used with only 40k miles. But tested and works. And what sensor?

You can do it at home but you need the vacuum pump but .i recommend just taking it to be serviced . Its alot easier.
