So, i have a couple thousand mi left in my warranty and my cars been burning oil like crazy, so the dealer decided they will warranty it out after an oil consumption test.

now the fine print... i have been changing my oil myself on a regular basis and dont ahve all of the reciepts!! facepalm.. so, what will work for me as far as a paper trail?? can I

A. use my bank statements showing the purchases at kragen or whatever...
B. get a transaction history from Kragens or whatever stores


any help on the specifics of this would be GREATLY appreciated!!!

Sucks my friend. That's all I can suggest. If your sure you paid all by card (and it's been the same card # all these years) I know back when I managed a retail store we could easily track any time that card was used.

 

Credit card history, bank statements whatever you need to do to show your coupe was serviced....do it! Cheat if you gotta!

Actually, all that is needed is a written personal log of service, such as the booklet you get when you buy the car.

@bythebay, so if i have an excel sheet showing the dates and mi. I changed my oil from the purchase date to current, that would work?? That would be awesome
