who bought certified preowned?
I just had a few questions as to the condition of your car when you picked it up. I went to the dealer and the car (a 2003 coupe 6mt navi aero) had some issues. It drove beautifully...as it should. But the exterior conditon concerned me. The rims were all scuffed. The rear bumper had some scuff marks as if it hit something very lightly. And tehre wa sa scratch about 3 inches long on the trunk lid. I told him I would take it only if all of these issues were dealt with by tomorrow. What would you do????

Keep in mind that sometimes people don't park their vehicles very well and do the "parking by braille" technique. Also, considering what it takes to make a scratch on the trunk and a small mark on the bumper, that could have happened at the dealership. If you've never owned this car you don't know how easily the paint scratches, and you definitely have no idea as to how flimsy the bumpers are.
Next time you see a G at the dealership, simply and GENTLY push on the back bumper. It will flex rather easily.
My guess is that if you change the oil, transmission fluid, diffy fluid and check everything else out under the hood you'll probably be alright.
How many miles and what's the price?

If you think it's worth saving ~$7k for 24,000 miles of use then go for it. Just remember the warranty terms and even though you have 36,000 left there are only ~2 years left on that warranty.
You might try to negotiate in another 1 year extended warranty into that price and see if they'd be willing to do that. It never hurts to ask. If you had at least a 3/36,000 warranty that was bumper to bumper it might not be a bad deal...
