I think when my battery went bad, one or two of the things on my speedo was acting up. needle pointing the wrong direction or something.. i forgot, its been awhile.

Got a jump(now I have to take my cluster out and fix the gas needle) STOP RIGHT THERE You don’t need to take the whole gauge cluster out to flip the gas needle around just use a strong magnet when the key is in the off position

 

The needle can't flip in this car, it's got limit stops on both sides. He was probably fixing a stepper motor or something unrelated to the original post.

As for the original post, scroll down a few posts and you'll see he fixed the issue 8 years ago, it was a dead batter.
