No G35...

First off, just wanna thank everyone on this site for their wonderful insight and advice on just about everything that has to do with the G35. Well, went into the local MB dealer today and traded my 03' G35 Coupe for a 05' SLK350. Both cars are wonderful to drive in and both have their positives and negatives, not too much on the latter though. I absolutely had a pleasure driving the G35, but in the end I was totally blown away by the handling and overall structural build of the SLK350, also the 268 HP V-6 wasn't bad either. The one thing thats gonna take time to get used to is the interior design of this car which is a total switch from the easy to use G35 console.

Well thanks again for all your wonderful help and I hope you enjoy your G35's as much as I did.

Good choice

My friend just picked up an 05 SLK, and I was blown away by how well the car drives and how well built it is. The looks are stunning as well.

Congrats bro! I heard that that car is like 5.4 to 60, have not heard much else as far as performance, but Mercedes is doing a good job to liven up their cars, much sportier and not soooo frumpy! Not a big Merc fan myself, but I respect them none the less, they make some WICKED fast cars!

All I can say is : enjoy. I wanted one of those since I saw the preview pics. I bet it's a huge step up in luxury and build quality of the G35c. From the numbers it looks relatively light too. Hardtop convertible to boot too. *drool.
