250 to 300 seems high, even in CAD. I have been quoted 150 USD per wheel from a couple of local shops. If I had Rays I would pay it, but I'm on stock 17's so it's not worth it to me.

Usually when they quote you on painting a single part and it seems really expensive like that its because they still have to buy a whole jobs worth of paint. For instance, I wanted some stripes painted on an old Camaro I had and they were gonna charge me for a whole paint job. I couldn't understand this until he explained to me that they have to buy certain amounts of a certain color and they can't wait around for someone to buy the rest of this particular color, so I have to pay for it all. Dig? Point being is that I'll bet if you asked them to refinish all 4 it wouldn't be much more expensive, and then you'd have 4 new wheels. I don't know about you, but if they said they'd do all 4 for $400-500, I would rather do that.

Well the main thing he said was the paint because these rays use a weird expensive paint, so if I want a 100% match to the other wheels I would need that paint. he offered to do all 4 wheels black gloss for $600 but I don't really want to spend that much because the other 3 wheels are in good condition. I guess I will do it for the price then, Thanks guys.

Exactly, but he cant buy one wheels worth of paint. You know what I mean? So he's already buying enough paint to do all 4 and you're paying for it. He should be able to do all 4 for the same price + the extra labor. Ask him.

Or better yet, just take your phone, show him my comment and ask him if it makes sense to him.

You could also look for a single wheel in good condition and probably spend less $

its all over ebay. but comes out to about the same as painting one wheel. but if u keep looking might find the good one

Here is a article on the hypersilver that the rays have. Ive called many places and they said they cant do a refinish in this colour.

I need to get my TB polished. Do you think it's stupid to buy a new TB & have that polished or just send my original one off to be polished?

07 coupe 73k on the clock. I have a spare upper plenum & thought it may be wise to have a spare TB to return to stock if I ever sell/trade it.

This makes a lot of sense. I've never seen a refinished wheel look as "hyper" as the stock finish on any of my Benz, Infiniti, or Audi wheels.

This sucks, I have called tons of places and as soon as I mention hyper silver they say they cant do it. maybe i will get all 4 painted some other colour.

Do I have this straight, 03-04 coupes had 18 inch rims, then 05 had 19, and for 06-07 it was 17?

They all had 17" for base I believe.
Sport 03-04 had 18" & Brembos
Sport 05+ had 19" rays.
