Does anyone else have a decent amount of tire noise? It's quite loud actually.
Or could this noise be from me needing a new control arm and front tire? My left lower control arm isn't centered and that side front tire is cracked a bit. (replacing soon)
Could be tire noise. I replaced mine, but still had noise, turned out my wheel bearings were toast. Just replaced the rear bearing over the weekend and soooooo quiet now.

When I go in for an oil change I'll have him replace the control arm and check out my wheel bearings.

what brand of tires do you have. this could be the reasoning too
So, my car has a complete exhaust system & air intake. For some reason now I don't get that horse power I used to get. I can feel it in my car nor does it make that smooth exhaust sound. I don't know what wrong can anybody help! I'm assuming the filter of the air intake!
tuning, and possibly, commonly, "blueprinting" for proper volumetric efficiency.. its like trying to run a 2" diamter turbo on a 3" or some **** diamter exh mani.. could be creating backpressure, or choking.. idk you probably lose on fuel economy as well no? im only semi pro at the moment aha
They are actually screws and anchors. T h ey are not the stock screws. Hold the anchor to keep it from spinning and loosen the screw. Don't push too hard with the screwdriver or you will push against the plastic screw threads and strip it.
Not exactly coupe specific but I have a set of wheels with dishes/trims like these.
I need replacements but after searching for a while can't figure out what they are called.
I'm talking about the stainless steel trim ring thats covering the actual dish/lip of the wheel.
Any ideas and where to find them/remove them?
So I'm trying to remove my grille to paint it and just wanted to check on this before breaking something lol.
I see on videos people just pulling the screws holding the grille out with force, but mine look different.
Do I just pull them up and off? I feel like I'm gonna break it.
If you come across these clips in the future the easiest way is to wedge the edge of a razor blade in between the two pieces and while putting pressure on the razor unscrew it and pull it out

I am not aware of HP Design actually having a multi piece wheel. I think the bolts you removed are cosmetic. Show a pic of the back side. What do you need to replace, or why? If the lip is damaged then your option is wheel repair. Locally can have done here for $75-125.00 depending on damage.
So I took my G to the shop because I needed both left control arms replaced and alignment. My mechanic gave me a call this morning with an estimate and he is charging me $650-690 for:
Upper/Lower Left control arm
Synthetic oil change
Alignment
Not sure where this price came from considering I found control arms for $40-60 each online.

What should I do?
Ask him how much he's charging you for the control arms. Expect a markup compared to online prices, but shouldn't be close to OEM prices for sure. Most of it is probably labor.

I mean I thought these repairs were small and would only run me $300 max. But $600 jesus.
