I took almost two months for the car to arrive but i guess it was worth the wait.... the tc is a pretty nice car for 20k OTD... I will be taking pictures later tonight when i get home from work. Ohyeah..btw... we put down 6k for the downpayment.... for the finance guy forgot to ask us to pay or something.. we signed the paper to finance 14k... they washed the car .. and took delivery of the car like usual... Dont you have to pay the downpyament before even signing the paper?

they will be contacting you shortly for that $6k when they balance their books.
other than that...the tc is a nice little coupe. a car i would consider if i was on a budget.

The tc is nice looking car. Too bad it didn't come with more horsepower, but for under 20k you can't complain.
Well the TC is for my wife.. and the G35 coupe is for me
they are almost the same color and i think that both the car look almost the same. Isnt it their fault for not charging us those 6k though?

For under 20 grand, the tc has a lot of neat options (in dash 6 disc MP3!! and changing color display)...and with 180hp, not bad compare to the celicas and others around that price range. Freind just got one with intake and exhaust.

Its their fault but they are still entitled to that money. If the contract you signed says that you were to put 6k down then you have to pay it. They will be calling about it shortly. Originally Posted by crazyness

If I were you, I would get in touch with the dealer so they don't change the
loan to 20k instead of 14k.

my girlfriend owns an '05 tc, and i am never really impressed by many cars, but this car impressed me. its alot of car for such a little pricetag. i drive it often and its one smooth ride, and the acceleration is not bad either. toyota did a great job on this car.

hmm tC is an awesome car...but i don't see why someone would buy a tC over a rsx. What was your reason for doing so? Just the name Acura vs. Scion is enough for me imo.

I agree with you. I do think RSX > TC. However, in my school, UC Berkeley, there are SOOOOOOOOOOOOO many TC. Professor, students, school workers...everyone drives it, but there ain't that much RSX. It came out less than a year, there are already more TC than civic in the school parking lot. Maybe it's because TC is a new car, fully loaded, cheaper insurance, big moonroof. Alot of people assume Acura is expensive, so they don't bother look at it. One last thing, the Scion commerials are killers!Originally Posted by flightz71

By all accounts a nice ride and highly rated as most Toyotas are.
Hope you have good luck with the Scion. It's a ride that got my attention too.
