What happens if you unplug the BCM?

What happens if you unplug the BCM?
I'm sorry but this is a really stupid question, but if you unplug the BCM it won't set off any lights right? I'm only asking because I don't have a job and I don't have any money to fix ANYTHING on the car right now. I will unplug the battery first, so unplugging the BCM shouldn't cause anything right?
