They also have a clearance strip, that looks great with CCFL retrofit.

The lights on the lower portion of the headlights, below the main beam, is the fog light. Those are traditional halogen lights, making them look less white/blue than the HID xenons. I believe you can convert them to HID's as well.

That is a fog, it is suppose to be slightly yellow.

^wrong h1 is only for fogs. for 06 lights hi's were integrated into the lows by a moving sheild to activate high beams

Ahhh
That's right. Regardless, I wish Infiniti would've placed fogs in the bumper like in the new Gs. They actually have more purpose in that position

actually fogs in the bumper lack any real functionality and is more for looks. the current fog position is very much more useful. so useful i use them strictly as my lows when i drive in the city. lol theyre like driving lights. when the fogs are in the bumper ud have to HID them to get any real use from them as they arent bright enough to do any good

Hmm. Well damn. I was always under the impression a large majority of the light from the fogs was mainly lost as it was higher from the ground and It itself was more for "looks" . Learn somethin every day

+1.... yellow reflects less than white and blue... so it "cuts" through fog better..... but of course it doesnt look nearly as cool as 4300-8000k

idk if its actually reflecting yellow. its jus a halogen bulb with a reflector. so its ur typical non hid color.
