Expecting delivery of my '05 Skyline Coupe 350GT during the third or fourth week of this month. I have driven a Nissan Fairlady Z 300zx Twin Turbo 5mt 2+2 for the last 5 years and decided it was time to get something new. I loved the coupe from the first time I saw it and finally broke down and placed an order. I decided to go with the 6mt in Super Black with the black interior, navi, and dealer installed Fujitsubo exhaust. I will post some pics once I take delivery.

Why did you order your car from Japan? Because if you didn't, you're getting an Infiniti G35.

Thanks for the comments. Yes I do live in Japan and wish I could have gotten the G35, but I really don't want to drive a left-hand drive car here. I am debating on whether to change out the grill to an Infiniti piece and then shave the emblems from the trunk, but will have to wait to get that car and then decide.

I signed all the papers yesterday at Nissan, and man is it a pain in the a$$ to buy a car in this country. I also had the sales guy check on when the car will come in and he said the 13th. But because there are so many regulations and things they have to do I wouldn't be able to get the car until the 17th or 18th. Problem is I am going to be in Europe from the 16th, so now my coupe has to sit at the dealer until the 21st when I get back. This is a big disappointment, but probably for the best, other wise I wouldn't think about work while in Europe and would just be waiting to get back to drive the car again.

BTW, the sales guy said that Nissan expects another shortage on sheetmetal, so there is a good chance that orders put in over the next few weeks could see very long delivery times, just FYI.

And lastly, I will post pics and vids once I take delivery. It will be nice to see a right-hand drive variant on these pages, won't it?

BTW, anyone running the Fujitsubo exhaust? I am interest to see what you think. I have Fujitsubo on my Z and have been very happy with it, but am interest to see what it is like on an NA car. Comments apprecitated.

 

I've got the Fuji on my coupe along w/ a UT Ypipe & I absolutely love it! It is quieter than stock at idle but under normal driving conditions & WOT it really shines. Nice DEEP/throaty tone w/ no raspiness or droning in the cabin whatsoever.

Ha Ha I was thinking the same thing... I am sure that he could find someone to trade emblems. As for me, I like the Infiniti emblems.
