Yea I hear ya man. Good thing is with today's suspension, tires & boost control tech its still possible to get traction at that power level on the street. Boost by gear and the right suspension and tires goes a long way. Ive thought about parting it out alot to sell both cars and buy something newer and modify it the way I want but for now im content with 0 car payments. It will always still just be a honda but im happy with it for now.

Ha, thanks, well lets be honest the G is much much nicer in all aspects!

I ordered some pieces to start a projector retrofit in my stock 04 headlights, i love the 06 headlights but ultimately i rarely see them for less than $800 and for that price I could do quite a bit to my stock headlights to clean them up/update them. I might do a quad conversion but going to wait and see how the first part turns out before ordering a 2nd set of projectors. Plus i might like the look of just doing 1 projector setup to start with. I went with an fxr kit, new lens etc. Looks like other members have used the TSX projectors and such which should be very similar in size so time will tell! Still debating which shroud to go with.

Ill agree with everyone else, g35>Honda. Mainly why i bought a g35 over a honda. Again we are on a g35 forum.

But, I am a regular at our local 1/4 mile here and there's no g35 that can run 11s on 2k in mods. Power to money spend, a Honda>G35 by farrrr

Got my wheels in, I need to order 1 front and then decide on color for powdercoat. Im also looking at different tire sizes but I need to get my springs installed first to see how low I'll be before i decide on tire specs "I like a wider tire in the rear for that more aggressive look but nothing too crazy". Last weekend was a bust due to work but this weekend i should be able to get alot hammered out.

Minus the flaking paint the wheels are in great condition, going to clean them up and decide on a color for my powdercoat guy. Also might do a polished lip, still checking out my options.

Haven't decided yet, my buddy is bringing over some samples for me to look at and check out first.

Im between

-A color really close to DG to match the car w/polished lip
-Darker gunmetal w/polished lip
-Dark silver w/polished lip
or the same mentioned above but without a polished lip

I dont really wanna do a straight gloss black so im content with a shade of silver basically..wether its a gunmetal or more the DG style im still debating. Hoping seeing the samples will make it easier to decide. Im going to be changing her up slightly over the next couple of weeks. Changing up the vinyl & ordered an intake to replace the stock box/pipe. I realize it will give 0 felt HP but i love the sound signature change in the car & snagging it at a good price.

Great choice on the OEM 19's...how much/where did you get them from if you don't mind me asking? I'm anxious to see how they turn out after the powder coat.

What about adding some matte black goodness to the "diffuser" on the stock rear bumper? Just a suggestion...

One last question...how much were the wheel spacers? Post a pic once you get them and the springs on so we can see the difference. Keep it up!!!

I got them from a member on here, I paid $350 shipped "shipping was basically $100 & it was only 3 rims but still a great price in my opinion, also came with the sensors". I knew ultimately I wanted to powdercoat them even if i bought some mint original oem 19"s so i figured id save some $$ finding some in good condition that had been painted etc. The actual condition of the rims seems excellent under the paint so they should clean up nice!

I believe the spacers were $100 for both, or maybe right at $110. They had good reviews and were one of the least expensive choices so it made sense.

I thought about doing the rear diffuser but im also thinking about removing all of it, and just doing the roof in a gloss black instead of matte & then doing my grille in semi gloss black but leaving the emblem chrome. Im going to leave it the way it is for now until the wheels and suspension are finished and installed before I make any decisions.

I also ordered an intake and projector headlight retrofit kit so ill have plenty to do over the next couple of weeks before I make any of those decisions. I honestly probably wont get to the headlights for a few weeks, tire's are going to be rather expensive for the 19"s & since this is my DD I need to find a good condition set of oem 04 headlights to open up for the retrofit so I can take my time and not take down my DD for an extended period of time.

Ill post updates & before/after pics for the suspension, spacers etc. Thanks!
