Annoying Squeak

Hey everyone. So I realized a squeaking noise whenever I drove over tiny bumps on the road. Recently I found out that when I'm alone, theres no squeak but when there is a passenger with me, it starts again. So I'm figuring that with weight, it is the passenger side suspension. Can anyone help me target the specific part that is worn? Thanks.

Really there is tons of things it could be. Most likely cause on G35 is compression rods. Cover everything that moves in lithium grease and pray it goes away. Several members here have spent alot of time and money chasing mystery squeaks.

I also get an annoying squeak but only when I break as I am backing out. Not sure what is causing it.

Any suggestions?

Noises like you're experiencing can be caused by dozens of issues. You could spray everything under your car with silicone lubricant and hope it goes away. It could also be a worn shock since you only hear it when you have a passenger. Get your G on a rack and look for worn/loose suspension parts and spray with silicone. (won't dry out like WD40)

why not spray one piece with silicon at a time. go for a drive and see if the squeak goes away. if it doesnt spray another piece, etc. till the squeak goes away and then you know whats causing it.

Locating any suspension part that may be worn and causing this squeak issue s/b your first goal. If it's just a bushing that can be sprayed to stop the squeak is the easy part. To find what you're looking for requires having your G on a lift. (rack) Taking it off and putting it back on to spray each individual part would be a major PIA!

Gary makes a good point and to figure out which part was making the noise would mean lift, spray a part, and test drive one by one until you get it right. That's not very realilistic. I'm experiencing a similar squeak (besides my annoying seat creak) in my G when hitting little bumps in the road. I always assumed it was coming from the cabin and not something under the car or in the suspension. I'll make a note to see if it only happens if I'm alone or anything. Sorry I couldn't help but I feel your pain.
