NO BLACK! Unless you live somewhere like So Cal or AZ where it never rains or snows, black is HELL to keep clean. My Mustang is black, and even though I only put about 2000 miles a year on sunny days, I still have to bust my *** to keep it clean.

That being said, when I picked up my Athens Blue 6MT today, they had a LS 5AT coupe right next to it. The LS is classy and very nice looking, I can't decide which I like better . . . AB or LS. While I was there a Carribean blue coupe drove up and parked on the other side of mine, and I have to say that both of the new colors are better than CB IMHO.

I've had 3 black cars in a row. Black is gorgeous on the G, but I was tired of black and wanted something that stood out- so I got a Caribbean Blue G. My thinking was if I'm going to spend this much $$$$ on a car, I want it to stand out, and CB does so wonderfully. I almost got a Twilight Blue G until I looked at a used one with 10,000 miles- the scratches show the light-colored primer very easily. This would be the same problem with black. The scratches won't show nearly as bad with LS as they would on black. If you live in a warm climate, black gets hotter than hell too if it is in the sun for just a little bit of time. Only get black if you are committed to taking care of the finish constantly. Since you're also interested in Lakeshore Slate, I've seen both LS and Athens Blue parked side by side at the local dealership, and Athens Blue looks sportier and not as conservative as the LS does, so you may also want to consider AB. LS compliments the Sedan better than the Coupe IMHO.

I love black. This is my third black car. You just have to know how to properly detail it to avoid swirls. Invest in a buffer.

I know the feeling. I just spent a month going around in circles trying to decide a colour for my new ride in.
Tough choices -- they're all nice. I finally went with Serengeti Sand which looks as gorgeous as Diamond Graphite, and I'm hoping is as low maintenance.

G/L and enjoy.
