So this happened to my the other night.
I have no idea what lip it is, I bought it second hand from a guy to totaled his G. Abd yes, id love 06 projectors but that, along with coilovers, will have to wait until I score that new job I've been working towards.
Your G looks good! Weirdly I bought my coupe in December also and not even a week with it while I was at work, some Dodge truck driven by a curly haired lady tried parking next to me and scraped the same spot but on the drivers side. She left, no note or anything
Luckily two guys witnessed the whole thing, got her plates, description of her and the truck
they gave all the info to my manager and he let me know my car was hit. I filed a police report and til this day that scratch is still there bothering the crap out of me. I didn't want to go thru my insurance until they found the truck but its been almost a month and I can't stand to see it everyday. Hopefully my rates don't go up when I go talk to my insurance agent about it. Here's a picture of the scratch.

Your rates will most likely go up if you have YOUR insurance fix it. Try some meguires compound, then some touch up paint for the meanwhile, so it's not such an eyesore. That's what I did.
So if it were me, I would have done my best to get her to pay cash to me, after talking to the shop, maybe even cut her a break to encourage her to just pay you, then I would have left it at the compound you used and just continued on. That small dent wasn't terrible at all and the money could be salvaged for something more important. Then learn how to fix dents and repair it yourself ..i know it might sound crazy but it would build you overhead money.
As far as the insurance and the driver etc, she does NOT deserve to have her rates go up, she was honest, came forward, and paid for the damage... In this day and age there is only 1 out of 1838393922 people that would actually do that. The OP os lucky as hell that it was an honest person and not your typical regular a$$h0le who will just peace out. Because THEN he has to pay for it all. And btw, you really need to park in the further point back of the lot if you want your car to be avoided. One of my cars I have never parked close, and I have never received damage. The car has lasted 14 years without damage! I had my wife's escape one day and parked in a normal spot at the mall with no one next to me, I cam out with each car touching each door and there was a giant door crease in my drivers door..... Awesome

Dent out of the fender was taken out, the bumper repainted, imperfections taken out of my bumper, and my front lip painted. All for $50 out of my own pocket, the rest on the lady. No point in having gotten another bumper painted completely
That could probably be taken out either doing the compressed air+ heat trick or a standard dent puller. Its the creases that really F ya over. Hows the paint? Did you get the person's info or was it a hit & run?
It was actually hit in my driveway at my condo, they came forward and agreed to pay what it costs. however I want to learn how to fix this myself. I made a thread a little while back and saw there was another member that had the same type of dent and was able to pop it out. I hope i can do the same
