Coupe backseat (obvious question)
Re: Coupe backseat (obvious question)
Yo, what the...?
I didn't get any floor mats that cover the hump (heh heh, I said "hump") !! I didn't get an Infiniti logo on my console cover either - though I'm rather glad I didn't, to be honest.
My interior is graphite, but yeah, other than the logos everywhere it looks the same. I thought you were talking about doing "the deed" back there.
Personally, I've always found that where there's a will, there's a way - but I definitely would prefer the blanket approach, or absolutely the motel room approach. Let's face it, if you can afford a G35, you can find a way to afford something more comfortable than a backseat, wouldn't ya think? Heck.... recline the front passenger seat all the way, you might be better off than the back...
But then there's the dropping the back seat option as well - opens up into the trunk... that'd be tight, but sure a lot roomier than the back seat.
My guess is you're not even considering a 350Z... ;-)

Re: Coupe backseat (obvious question)
Hmm, my graphite interior came with the hump mat (heh), so I think you were cheated. You need to storm into the dealership and demand your hump mat, if for nothing but the comedy value.
And as I squint at the picture again, I think that "Infiniti" graphic is actually the first aid kit sitting on top of the panel.

Waitaminnit...
This is weird too... take a close look at the armrest in the center console (front seat). Is that car an auto? It doesn't look like my armrest either. Mine's more rounded, and shorter. Could be the difference between auto and stick, though, I'm not sure.
You may be right about the first aid kit - but it looks as if it's IN the console, with the console cover off, not sitting on top of it.
As for the hump mat (heh heh...), I DID get a complete set of floor mats, mine just didn't go over the hump (heh heh...). Again, that could a difference between auto and stick? I might print that pic and bring it to the dealer to gripe just for the fun of it - but it wouldn't really matter, as I'm not about to keep the carpeted mats in the car anyway... I use it too much to have anything other than the all-season rubber mats.

Re: Coupe backseat (obvious question)
Yes the hump mats are for the Auto only - I found out when my 6MT came with them, and they didn't fit.
And yes the center console is different too.
