Also will you do this VB work yourself? or you will ask trans shop to do it for you?

i will be doing it myself. And yes. I will post once i get it done. I plan on doing it this weekend if time allows . Time show for this job is 2 hrs on mitchell demand so i think 4 hrs to remove the two and install into the one will be proper time.

swapping the valve body took care of the problem. Car is fixed. Just finished. It took about 2 and a half hrs. It is a very messy job so make sure you have plenty of paper towels. You just have to make sure you remove the correct bolts that hold the valve body in place and once you re-install make sure you line up everything. Take pics. It wasn't to bad at all. Car drives good now. I needed 7 qts to fill trans up.

well i had this problem with my tranny, except my valve body caused me to loose reverse. i ended up getting a used tranny. and i also did the trasgo shift kit. DO IT!!! its the best 200 u can spend. get it from summit its 229 shipped. just replacing the valve body for a new one is 1100 dollars.... so trust me the new tranny even tho it sounds nuts is the cheeper route. our trannys dont go bad very often me and u are just not very lucky. i did alot of research and it dont happen often... and i mean very little lol. so just get another tranny. i recommend www.carpart.com that where i got mine. all there stuff is in good shape when removed. my local guy only uses them for that reason. just my opinion but i feel your pain..... mine just cost me 1500 and that was with me spending 850 on a tranny with 75 k and doing the shift kit and giving my buddie who runs a tranny shop 200 to help me take it in and out. so plan on spending some cash but ull prolly never have to do it again.... this is the pic when i was reinstalling mine
