G Repaint!

Hey all, hope everyone is enjoying the winter and being safe out their in their g's! I haven't really spoken to much on the forum lately but decided to post some good news. Long story short is I purchased my G a 1.5 years ago and not knowing that it had been repainted........ After 6months of ownership the clear coat on the hood, front bumper, and both front quarter panels starting peeling off. Month after month it continued to get worse until the paint itself starting peeling, luckily only the above mentioned parts were effected. Everyday I drove it I felt embarrassed because of the paint. After months of dealing with the deteriorating paint I finally found a shop that does very quality work and at a decent price. They repainted all the above effected areas debagded and repainted my trunk(stupid dealership screwed there emblem in the trunk) and even sanded and polished my headlights for free! All this was done for 1500.00 and he warranties his work! Pictures don't do the justice but trust me it looks amazing and I cant wait for summer to come here in Colorado!

That looks gorgeous. Not a bad deal at all either for the mid-states we live in.

Wow

I really wish I lived closer, that is a great deal. Wish I could find someone around me to do that good of work for a decent price. All the shops around here want an arm and a leg for a paint job and they won't throw anything in for "free".

Congrats, looks great.

Bet you aren't embarrassed to drive it now! I second saywat? on the lights; those look great. I actually am a big fan of the 03-04 lights but hate how that strip yellows.

Thanks for all the feedback! I'm super excited about the nice weather coming up this week definitely going to hand wash it and take a long nice cruise! Also that idea sounds great about the photo shoot I will definitely be down just give me a time and place. I attached a business card from the shop not 100% sure if that's allowed but please remove it if it isn't. The owner of the shop is actually the guy who does all the painting. He has been doing it for over 20+ years very nice guy! Also just and fyi the shop is located in Colorado Springs.
