The service engine soon "SES" light is on , and after driving my car for a while the "VDC off" & "Slip" lights comes on also. any idea Why ?

I had an issue with the gear also, it happed twice that the transmission "AT Check" light comes on while iam driving, i notice that it happens after driving the car for long time hardly using the Manumatic gear, actually the gear is stuck on the forth gear if its on Manumatic and its not showing anything on the dashbored when its on automatic Drive "D" mode, the car keeps moving but of course with no power at low RPM & speed .

The problem is gone and the "AT check" light is off again, after driving the car with Reverse "R" mode for a few seconds and stopping the car for a while to cool down.

I am facing a really weird situation with my car,, i know that i have to check the codes but i am asking to get extra info about my problem and how it can be fixed.

I have a 2003 infiniti G35 sedan auto, I'm having the same problem I can start in any gear but right away it shows D even tho I'm driving in Manual mode anyone know what's wrong ?

Only finding out what the codes mean will give you the answers you're looking for. Most autoparts stores will read the codes for you, then you can decide where to take it for replacement. Members guessing at what might cause the warnings isn't going to help you...Gary

as I read, there might be a problem with the ABS sensor and speed sensor that can cause miss leading readings for the computer, .. I think it could be true , because the wrong readings from any of these sensor may cause miss understanding between the motor and transmission to react with what the car needs at that moment while driving
