Car Cover?

I just got my G35 coupe 6MT and am so happy. There is a problem though, I live around a bunch of trees and do not have a garage to store the new G-Ride in. Is the best option a car cover?

If so, any specific kind?

Thanks

Yeah, I can attest to the quality of this cover as well. I use it even though I have a garage. I believe there are a lot of manufacturers who use Noah, but I went with the company Covercraft and have absolutely no complaints. I spent the additional $12 or whatever dollars for the bag too.

I would say yes if the vehicle will be parked outside. Wind will cause the cover to flap up and down and possible come off the vehicle if it is not well fitting.

I also have the factory cover. It fits perfectly and was worth the 200.00 investment.

I have a generic Wal-mart car cover that is one size too big... I love it. Paid like 30 bucks for it and it stays put when the wind blows. It'll also repel water if it rains slightly, but if it rains hard, its all over for the car cover. Anyway, it came with an attached bag to store the cover and a bunch of rope to tie down the car cover if you so please.

I just read that if you get a cover doesn't fit correctly it could actullay damage the paint as a result of wind knocking the cover into the car etc... This sounds very unlikely. I would hope my paint is strong enough to withstand a car cover banging against it. Any opinions on this?

little bits of dirt either on the car... or the cover will scratch.

if your choice is tree sap or a few minor scratches... id pick the scratches.

for a resonable amount of money 300-600 there are tent like car ports. id prefer this if your area doesnt have crazy weather.

Get a car cover that has material that wont scratch the paint. Most car covers will say right on the box "XXX material that wont harm your finish." or something to that affect.

Good point. The dirt on the cover or car is an issue. Make sure your car is clean before you cover it.
