This happened a couple months ago. My car wont start, it doesn't turn over, nothing, when I turn the ignition on everything comes on like it should, but when I go to start it the dash lights shut off and it does nothing. This started out by me washing the engine bay then parking it outside in the cold, I know, not the smartest idea. I have a feeling that it is electrical. But im just wondering if anyone else have had this problem and what they did to fix it? I did park it in a garage for a couple days and it started after that, but after having it outside for a day again its back to the way it was not starting. Please help!

 

I would check your battery first. make sure it has enough voltage. then check that the battery posts are on tight and have a good connection. third i would check your starter.

 

I have checked the battery several times and even tried boosting it, and it started no problem when it was in the garage.
