Forever?

Not sure if anyone ever posted a thread like this, i've looked but I didn't see anything, but if there is, whoops.

Anyways, I wanted to know if anyone on this forum actually plans or could see themselves keeping their G's forever, like time wise forever, not the let's go have kids forever or whatever. Lol.

That's hilarious haha, I actually wrote this because of my other thread. I just wanted to know that I wasn't the only one that wanted to do this, despite all the things that could happen in the lifetime of the G

Nah, man, I seriously see these cars going the way of the camaro ultimately. Made a huge splash, hugely popular and then when they start getting super cheap, kids will have a bunch of piece of **** ones all over and everyone will think they suck, then as they keep breaking down, being crashed and being sent to the junk yard they'll get a bit more rare and people will start rebuilding them and they'll be classics. Its gonna be a long road, but I'm keeping mine.

I don't think flying cars will ever be a thing. People can't even get it together on the ground. I seriously almost have an aneurism when I watch people drive.

It still surprises me at how many people still do that so carelessly. Its so unnecessary. I see them not even looking at the road, going 45 on the Fwy and riding the brakes while going uphill..and accelerating..like..what?

100% agree, but the upside is it's cheaper for me to buy yay, and i'll take great care of it.
By the way, how many miles have you racked up so far?

I've got 127k hwy miles with no signs of age or wear, so I've got awhile.

Also, waiting til after college will put you at a time when these things will be CHEAP. Then I feel like after awhile the prices will start going up as soon as people get all collector about em. Like I said, long road, but if you love the car it doesn't matter.

I don't know if id keep it forever but I still enjoy driving it like on day one 3 years after my buying my G. It's kinda crazy how that my car is almost 10 yrs old and people always comment about how it looks brand new. I wonder if in another 10 years it will still look recent.
