the gremlins are back
Having trouble with alarm/emobilizer...car will not start or turn over, no click. dealer checked says he has no clue...suggests I leave cars (probably with my visa card, ha ha) I had it narrowed down somewhat and disconnected battery overnite...worked for one day..the problem now seems to be involved with "FOB key. if I lock car with key it will not start..if I do not use fob it will start next time. I disconnected battery overnite this worked fine for two days and then left me stranded..
I have gone thru everything I canthink up, If I do get stranded I can deliberately cause the alarm to go off then key will work, not the fob.
today everthing works fine as long as I DO NOT LOCK CAR....VDC and slip light are present, dnk what that is or if that is causing the above problem

 

Have you tried wirebrushing the battery terminals and connectors and/or changing the battery? Check this thread for suggestions...
